Night. Heavy cross winds. Lots of snow. Zero visibly. 4 points that tell you, you should not be on the road.
It was mild & rained all day yesterday, then today it all froze. So the road was also a ice rink. The most fast I went was 40kph, I had to drive though snow drifts (big ones). The moment you tapped the brakes lightly you slid. At one point, a guard rail 4ft to the left of me. Thats thanks to white conditions. Also when I got the the road I live on & saw no fresh tracks, just flat white I knew it was bad. On the bright side side this post does not say “I’m stuck in a ditch.”

Move down yonder to Tejas. Where H20 only falls from the sky half a dozen times a year.

Routine drive for Canadians, in other words; and no cause for special concern ;-)
Happy to read you made it safely tho

PS: 5 or 6 million of us live in a city here and none of us even owns snow tires; if you’re ever in the mood for a change :D
